Koppert | Network Rail
​In June 2025, we collaborated with Koppert and Network Rail to treat Oak Processionary Moth (OPM) infestations across the Greater London area. OPM is a hazardous pest that poses serious health risks to both humans and oak trees,
​
The affected oak tree was tall and awkwardly positioned, making it difficult to access using traditional methods. Our advanced spray drone reached the upper canopy with ease, applying a precisely controlled treatment of nematodes directly to the affected areas. The downward airflow generated by the drone’s propellers helped distribute the treatment evenly throughout the canopy and down to the base of the tree, ensuring full and effective coverage.

By adopting this approach, we eliminated the need for personnel to work at height and significantly reduced the risk of exposure to the pest — delivering a safer, more efficient solution for all involved.
In Autumn, due to adverse weather conditions HighVantage were deployed by National Grid, delivering pilot ropes and equipment across inaccessible areas safely and efficiently.
